“Equipment Due Tracker” (the “App”) is an app for managing deadlines and history for measuring instruments, tools, jigs, and similar items on a single iOS device.

1. Information handled within the App

Users may optionally register an asset's name, management number, category, manufacturer, model, serial number, department, storage location, photo, memo, deadlines, notification settings, service history, the name or an identifying string for the person who performed the service, results, comments, and a certificate PDF.

This information is stored in the App's on-device storage area. The App does not use user registration, a proprietary server, app-specific iCloud sync, advertising, analytics, crash analytics, or other telemetry, and it does not automatically transmit registered content to the operator.

2. Photos, camera, and attachments

Only when the user explicitly chooses to do so, the App can use the system photo picker or camera to register a photo. Certificate PDFs are imported only when the user explicitly selects them from the system file picker.

Photos and certificate PDFs are copied into the App's on-device storage area. File protection while the device is locked uses the data protection features provided by iOS.

3. Notifications

The App registers the deadline notifications selected by the user as iOS local notifications. Notification calculation and registration happen on-device. Whether a notification is shown depends on the user's notification settings, device state, and iOS behavior, and delivery is not guaranteed.

4. Face ID, Touch ID, and passcode

Users may optionally enable an App-launch lock. Authentication uses iOS's LocalAuthentication framework; the App never obtains or stores face, fingerprint, or other biometric data. Depending on device configuration, iOS may offer device-passcode authentication instead.

5. Exporting via CSV/PDF

CSV export and PDF ledger output are handed to the system share sheet only through the user's explicit action. Files placed after sharing may end up outside the App's protected storage area; the user is responsible for confirming the safety of the destination, recipient, and transmission method.

For CSV import, the App parses the file the user selects on-device. A preview is shown before import is confirmed, and invalid rows are excluded with a reason.

6. Backup, device transfer, and deletion

The App has no app-specific iCloud sync feature. App data may be included in the iOS device backup the user uses. CSV export exchanges only a limited set of fields — asset name, management number, category, manufacturer, model, serial number, department, storage location, and deadline dates — and does not include memos, photos, notification settings, service history (including results, comments, and the person who performed the service), or certificate PDFs. PDF ledger output is for viewing and sharing registered content; there is no path to import it back into the App. Neither CSV nor PDF is a complete backup of the App.

If the App is deleted without creating an available device backup, the assets, deadlines, history, and attachments on the device cannot be restored. Even if CSV export or PDF output was created beforehand, information not included in them (memos, photos, notification settings, service history, certificate PDFs, and similar data) cannot be restored. Assets and history within the App can be deleted individually. Before uninstalling the App to delete all App data on the device, confirm the necessary device backup. Because the operator cannot access on-device data, remote viewing, restoration, or deletion is not possible.

7. Purchases on the App Store

Purchases, payment processing, and purchase-history management are handled by Apple through the App Store. The operator does not receive a purchaser's name, email address, payment method, or other personal information from the App Store in connection with a purchase. Apple may provide the operator with aggregated sales or download information that does not directly identify an individual, as well as receipt information relating to purchases or refunds. Apple's terms and privacy policy apply to Apple's handling of information.

8. Inquiry and support information

When you make an inquiry or bug report, the operator may receive information outside the App, such as your email address, optional name, inquiry content, device and App information, and images you choose to attach. The App does not automatically collect this information.

We use this information to respond to you, verify identity, investigate defects, improve support quality and the App, and prevent misuse. We delete it within one year after the final response to the inquiry. We may retain it for a necessary period when required by law, needed to address a dispute, or when you request continuing support. We may retain de-identified defect and improvement records to improve the App's quality.

9. Limited-beta application and contact information

In connection with a limited-beta application, TestFlight invitation, or survey response, the operator may receive an email address, optional name, and feedback content outside the App. The App does not automatically collect this information.

TestFlight provision and processing use Apple's services; Apple's terms and privacy policy apply to Apple's handling of this information.

10. Business and confidential information

When registering business information, certificates, management numbers, or other information in the App, confirm that you are authorized to handle it and that doing so complies with agreements involving your employer, customers, or other third parties, internal rules, and applicable laws. When contacting us, hide confidential and personal information — such as company names, management numbers, certificates, personal names, and email addresses — in screenshots and message text. Do not send real business data or credentials. The operator cannot view App content stored only on your device.

11. Inquiries and deletion requests

For inquiries or to confirm or request deletion of inquiry information or limited-beta application information, contact:

If we cannot identify you or the relevant information, we may ask for additional confirmation to avoid mistakenly disclosing or deleting a third party's information. App data that exists only on-device cannot be viewed or remotely deleted by the operator.
